On Saturday, May 25th, we performed at an Asian-American Wedding at the The Water’s Edge Resort in Westbrook, Connecticut! The Bride & Groom are students at the Yale School of Medicine and hired us from New Haven.
CEREMONY: We provided a Live String Duo consisting of Violin & Cello for the Indoor Ceremony which took place in the Royal Ballroom. The Processional was”Canon in D” by Pachelbel. The Recessional was “Spring” from “The Four Seasons” by Vivaldi.
COCKTAIL HOUR: We performed Solo Jazz & Pop Piano Tunes outside in a foyer for the Cocktail Hour.
RECEPTION: The Reception featured a blend of Asian & American traditions. During the Dinner, the Mother of the Bride sung a beautiful piece to a Bamboo Flute Accompaniment. Later on, everyone danced to plenty of 80’s, 90’s, and Top 40 Hits. The Last Dance was “Glad You Came” by The Wanted.
