On Saturday September 18th, we had the pleasure of serving a couple of Vermont Law School grads who had their wedding at the Alerin Barn in St. Johnsbury, Vermont – right in the middle of Vermont’s famous Northeast Kingdom.
The actual marriage Ceremony took place in a Catholic church in downtown St. Johnsbury. As the bride was arriving the church, a local parade celebration was taking place was which a funny coincidence. We accompanied a talented violinist & gifted vocalist during the beautiful Ceremony Mass.
The Cocktail Hour & Dinner/Dancing Reception took place at the Alerin Barn, featuring gorgeous weather and an extraordinarily charming and rustic site. We provided Live Piano Music during the Cocktail Hour and DJ Services for the Dinner/Dancing.
The Father/Daughter dance was a combination of “My Girl” and “Apache – Jump on It!” and nearly brought down the house!
The guests danced well into the evening featuring Oldies at the beginning of the beginning, and plenty of 80’s, 90’s, and Top 40 near the end. The Bride & Groom also had a few friends of theirs perform some Live Music at the Reception – the band featured Vermont Law School Grads exclusively!
The event was catered by Catering By Dale of Shelburne, Vermont.
We also wanted to give a shout-out to the staff at the Alerin Barn who were very easy-to-work-with and to the 2 Nepalese Goats on the premises who Very Vocal and Most Friendly!
