A Wedding at Lake of Isles near Foxwoods in Connecticut!

On Saturday, November 27th, we performed at a Wedding in Stonington, Connecticut, right across the street from Foxwoods Casino! The Lake of Isles Function Facility is one of the Most Elegant and Well-Run Wedding Sites we've experienced and this Ceremony & Reception was Spectacular. The Ceremony took place in the Main Ballroom and featured Piano Music we performed by Steven Curtis Chapman & Johnny Cash! For the Cocktail Hour, we performed Light Jazz Piano along with Piano Hits from Billy Joel, Elton John, Norah Jones, and Van Morrison. The Reception featured a Great Dance Crowd from the Tri-State Area - never low on Energy or Enthusiasm, they danced to practically Every Tune from Oldies, to Classic Rock, to the Latest Hits from Rihanna and the Black-Eyed Peas. We especially appreciated the Staff at the Lake of Isles and would Thoroughly Recommend the Site to Anyone in Eastern Connecticut, Central Massachusetts, or Western Rhode Island. The drive down I-395 from Central Massachusetts is unusually Stress-Free for a Southern New England Highway.

A Jazz Brunch Wedding at the Inn at Essex in Vermont!

On Saturday November 13th, we provided Emcee services along with a Piano & Bass Jazz Duo for a Wedding Ceremony & Reception at the Inn at Essex in Essex Junction, Vermont. The Inn is home to the Vermont Culinary Resort and is one of the most popular wedding sites in the Entire State. Although November is definitely the beginning of the off-season, the Inn was jumping at 10am in the morning when we arrived. Also unexpected was the near 60-degree weather. For the Ceremony, we performed Solo Piano Music. The Bride & Groom were definitely Very Eclectic in their tastes and as such we performed Coldplay's "Trouble" and Billy Joel's "She's Got A Way" for the Processionals. "Wouldn't it Be Nice" by the Beach Boys was the Recessional. The Reception took the form of a Jazz Brunch - the couple wanted a Live Jazz Duo for the Entire Reception with minimal Emceeing. During the brunch itself, we performed a number of Sinatra, Michael Buble, and Ella Fitzgerald standards. Later on during dancing, we performed a Piano Adaptation of Incubus' "I Miss You" for the First Dance, followed by Upbeat Swing & Rock n' Roll Standards like "Rock Around the Clock". Everything ended later in the afternoon with the Last Dance: "New York, New York", a salute to the Bride & Groom's families who were all from the New Jersey/New York area.

A Boston Hilton Wedding with a Presidential Touch!

On Saturday October 16th, we performed at a Wedding in Downtown Boston at the Back Bay Hilton Hotel. Everyone {including the bride} was a bit concerned about getting to the event as President Obama was set to lead a rally for Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick right next door to the Hilton at the Hynes Convention Center. We were amazed how easy it was to actually get to the wedding. There was a lot of traffic but the Boston Police kept everything moving smoothly. We performed Live Piano Music for the Wedding Ceremony & Cocktail Hour. This included "Make You Feel My Love" and "When You Say Nothing At All" for the Wedding Processionals. Later, we kept the dancing going until Midnight for a crowd that featured lots of New Yorkers, and lots of fellow graduates {along with the Groom} of Tufts University. We're always delighted to play for the many Tufts crowds at weddings over the years! The last dance was "Always & Forever" by Heatwave.

A New York Crowd at the Bedford Village Inn in New Hampshire!

On Friday October 15th, we performed at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, NH. The Bride & Groom were from Massachusetts, but most of the crowd was from New Jersey & New York. We performed Live Piano Music for the Ceremony & Cocktail Hour. The couple was very particular about their Ceremony Music and had us perform the "Arrival of the Queen of the Sheba" by George Frederic Handel for their Ceremony Recessional. We played Jazz Piano for the Cocktail Hour as the Bride & Groom took pictures with their photographer, the famous Dan Doke. The Couple are big fans {along with their families} of the Old Crooners, especially Dean Martin. His music was a great feature of the Dinner and early Dancing in the evening. In fact, we played Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, & Michael Buble throughout the night as they requested. Later we kept the dancing going for almost 4 hours {!} which was a special treat of this wedding because the entire Inn was rented. Lots of Swing, Oldies, 70's, 80's, and Top 40 Music were featured. Everything wrapped-up around Midnight.

Alerin Barn

On Saturday September 18th, we had the pleasure of serving a couple of Vermont Law School grads who had their wedding at the Alerin Barn in St. Johnsbury, Vermont - right in the middle of Vermont's famous Northeast Kingdom.

The actual marriage Ceremony took place in a Catholic church in downtown St. Johnsbury. As the bride was arriving the church, a local parade celebration was taking place was which a funny coincidence. We accompanied a talented violinist & gifted vocalist during the beautiful Ceremony Mass.

The Cocktail Hour & Dinner/Dancing Reception took place at the Alerin Barn, featuring gorgeous weather and an extraordinarily charming and rustic site. We provided Live Piano Music during the Cocktail Hour and DJ Services for the Dinner/Dancing.

The Father/Daughter dance was a combination of "My Girl" and "Apache - Jump on It!" and nearly brought down the house!

The guests danced well into the evening featuring Oldies at the beginning of the beginning, and plenty of 80's, 90's, and Top 40 near the end. The Bride & Groom also had a few friends of theirs perform some Live Music at the Reception - the band featured Vermont Law School Grads exclusively!

Moosehead Lake Wedding – Greenville, Maine!

During Labor Day Weekend, we had the opportunity to perform at Many Wonderful Events! One of them was a Wedding that took place at a Private Estate overlooking Moosehead Lake in Greenville, Maine. We are sincere are about our Ability to Cover ALL of New England and this was definitely one of the most remote areas we've ever performed in. The Bride & Groom were two Wildlife Biologists who are also both private Pilots. Their beautiful mountaintop ceremony featured a Breathtaking View of Moosehead Lake, beautiful Guitar Music {including Sound-Support provided by us}, and a Thrilling Fly-Over by two Private Planes near the End of the Ceremony. The Reception featured one of the most extraordinary Dance Parties, with most of the guests dancing well-into the night, despite the seasonable, Northern Maine cold temperatures. We would also like to mention the exceptional Organic Cuisine provided by Billi Barker of Enchanted Kitchen. At the end of the night, we were delighted to receive the Compliments of Many including the Bride who summed-up everything: "Aaron, that was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!"

Tower Hill Gardens – Weddings on August 13th & 14th

On August 13th & 14th, we performed at 2 Weddings at the Tower Hill Botanical Garden in Boylston, MA. It was rare for us to perform at 2 weddings at the same site 2 days in a row! Tower Hill is beautiful collection of outdoor gardens and indoor locations including the Orangerie, a greenhouse-like structure where both Wedding Receptions took place. For the Wedding on August 13th, we performed Piano Music for the outdoor ceremony followed by the Cocktail Hour in the Great Hall's grand piano. For the Wedding on August 14th, we provided recorded music for the Ceremony in the "Secret Garden", followed again by the Cocktail Hour Live Piano Music. Both Receptions had our DJ/Emcee services with great dancing both nights! The August 14th wedding was a great party crowd who sang along to nearly every song. Also worth noting was that the First Dance song "Not Fire, Not Ice" {Ben Harper} was performed by a friend of the Bride & Groom in a rare Live Performance of a First Dance. We were delighted to work with this talented performer and provided all professional sound system support for him! We also had the pleasure, once again, of working with our Photographer Friends, Matt & Liz Hinkley of www.hinkleyphoto.com. We must compliment Tower Hill on its exceptional Steinway Grand Piano that is found in the Great Hall. This was unexpectedly one of the finest Grand Pianos we've ever found at a Wedding Reception Site and apparently was a gift to the Gardens. It's definitely an added plus for any Couple wanting really excellent piano music during their Cocktail Hour.

Civil Union at Private Home on Lake Champlain!

On Saturday August 7th, we provided music for a Same-Sex Civil Union in Vermont. The location was a Private Home {friend of the Couple} located in Saint Albans, Vermont with an Extraordinary Vista overlooking Lake Champlain. The Ceremony, which included beautiful Piano Music, took place in a Wooded-location near the Home. It was probably the most remote setting we've ever performed at for a Ceremony. The Cocktail Hour & Dinner/Dancing took place under a tent, under a fully starlit sky {one of the many benefits of having a wedding in such a sparsely-populated area}. The Honored Coupled used a Joshua Radin song for their First Dance. The crowd danced for several hours, even as the temperatures cooled-off later in the night.

Lakeview Pavilion Wedding – One of Our Favorite Sites

On Friday, August 6th, we provided Cocktail Hour Piano Music & DJ/Emcee Dinner/Dancing Reception Music for a Wedding at the Lakeview Pavilion. The Lakeview is in Foxboro, MA and, in our opinion, is one of the best-run Wedding Sites in New England. The staff there is always Very Attentive and Professional...doesn't get in our way and makes sure everything runs very smoothly. The Acoustic Piano they provide is in-tune and sounds great. And the Reception Room itself has Excellent Acoustics and Additional Ambient Lighting that makes the Reception itself always look impressive! We were also delighted to work again with our friend, the Photographer Keith Berry. Keith is also so much fun to work with!
